  1. SoundOff ][@ is an INIT file for your Macintosh ][ that will play 'snd '
  2. resources when the system starts up. To use it, you need to use ResEdit to
  3. put the names of the 'snd ' resources in 'STR ' resources inside SoundOff
  4. ][@ itself. You can put the 'snd ' resources either in the System file or
  5. the SoundOff ][@ file. SoundOff ][@ needs to be placed in the system folder
  6. in order to work.

  12. Sound->Beep@ is a program which converts old Soundcap files into 'snd '
  13. resources. Run Sound->Beep@, and you will be prompted to select the SoundCap
  14. file to convert. Then you will be prompted for the name of the file to place
  15. the 'snd ' resource in. Then you can use ResEdit to put the 'snd ' resource
  16. into your System file, and use it the standard beep, or as a sound for
  17. SoundOff ][@, described above.
